Michael Tyler LLB. BA(Hons). A.A.L.C.D.

Michael began his career in costs with a nationwide firm of Claimant Solicitors, specialising in Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence and Employment Law. Michael then moved to an independent firm of Law Costs Draftsman where he was exposed to a wide range of matters for both Claimant and Defendant including cases for the Treasury Solicitor. [Michael is an Associate Member of the Association of Law Costs Draftsman.]

Michael has experience in a wide range of 'inter partes' and solicitor and client matters, including, personal injury, employment, clinical negligence, industrial disease, commercial, metropolitan police judicial reviews and civil disputes. Michael is also consulted regularly for costs planning means for personal injury and industrial disease cases.

Michael has attended detailed assessment in a wide range of cases, for both Claimant and Defendant. As well as drafting bills of costs, Michael prepares points of dispute and replies to points of dispute on a day to day basis.

At CCCL Michael is a senior manager of the teams dealing with fast and multitrack personal injury claims. He has a specific mandate to deal with premature invoice allegations.
