Martin Harris

Martin is a Costs Lawyer based in the Manchester office of Civil and Commercial Costs Lawyers. He has overall responsibility for managing the Manchester and Liverpool teams as well as running his own caseload.

Experience

Martin has worked in costs for 10 years. He predominantly practices in high value/complex civil litigation dealing with clinical negligence matters along with high value personal injury claims.

Martin also deals with all aspects of commercial litigation including; banking litigation, commercial and contractual disputes, insolvency litigation, professional negligence and defamation claims.

Martin is an experienced advocate and regularly deal with all aspects of the cost management process.

Qualifications

Martin has a degree in Law and completed his LPC in which he was awarded a distinction.

He is a fully accredited mediator (including workplace mediation).

Personal

Outside of the office, Martin is a big football fan, supporting Liverpool FC along with keenly following most sports and attempting to play some. When not wandering aimlessly around a golf course searching for that slightly misjudged tee shot into the trees, Martin spends his time educating/boring friends about craft beer, driving his wife crazy with overly loud but only moderately well executed guitar playing and the usual socialising with family and friends.
